Monday Mayhem – Notice anything new?

Christmas may be over, but I’m still unwrapping stuff on the new website. I believe my #8Sunday post went live, but I forgot to update the new blog address for the sign-up list. I’m scheduling this post for Monday morning. If you see it, I didn’t screw it up….

So, how do you like the new digs? Click around a bit, let me know what you think.

My Christmas was fabulous, and I hope yours was too. I’m looking forward to a quiet New Year’s Eve. At least, as quiet as it can be with the fireworks stands open this week.

But I’m happy to make your 2015 a little spicier. That’s why I’m giving away a copy of my New Year’s Eve gone wrong story, The Last First Date PLUS a copy of my pal, Lisa Fox’s One Kiss to one lucky commenter. All you have to do is answer one question: Are you more likely to kiss or be kissed?

Please share this post with your friends! I’ll pick a winner from all comments made before Midnight, December 31, 2014!

Thank you all so much for making 2014 a great year!

This week, I’m sharing 8 from my New Year’s Eve gone wrong story, The Last First Date:

“You seriously think I let my grandmother set me up on a blind date on New Year’s Eve in hopes of getting laid?”

“Maybe?”

Reluctant laughter expelled a little of the heat inside him, but he still simmered when she met his gaze. The stark vulnerability he saw in her eyes leached the fight from his bones. “Trust me, if I was after sex I’d keep my grandmother as far from the mix as humanly possible.”

Jessica looked up at him from under her lashes. “If not sex, then why? I can’t imagine you have a hard time finding a date, and you don’t strike me as the kind of guy who can’t get enough of doing the Electric Slide.”

Weekend Writing Warrior – 12/21/14

Happy holidays, my friends! I cannot believe this year is winding down already. I want to thank you all for reading and sharing with me, so I may have a little something up my, ahem, stocking. Stick around after the 8 to find out. 🙂

One last post from my new release, Three Little Words – available now from Kensington/Lyrical.

“I changed my mind. Is that okay?”

Unable to resist, he caught the droplet on the tip of his index finger. The water soaked into his skin, cool and refreshing, a sharp contrast to the relentless heat pumping through him. Steam from her shower fogged the mirror behind her. He trailed his damp finger over dewy skin to the knot of terry cloth between her breasts. “Better than okay.”

Holding his gaze, she slipped her fingers under his and gave the towel a tug.

It’s never too late to make the best impulsive decision of your life.

Jo Masters isn’t the party girl she used to be, but now that she’s a woman without obligations, she’s ready to recapture a little of her misspent youth. Her niece’s wedding, with its open bar and dark dance floor, proves to be the perfect opportunity to let loose.

Gregory Stark is just trying to make it through his son’s wedding day… and make some time with the gorgeous brunette on the bride’s side of the aisle. His kid’s wedding probably isn’t the best occasion to put the moves on the sexy woman, who introduces herself only as ‘Josie’, but his best friend is closing in on her too and he has to act fast. With a couple of tequila shots under his belt, Greg propositions Josie — and neither wants to refuse.

Weekend Writing Warriors – 12/14/14

Once again, I’m sharing parts of this month’s new release, Three Little Words – available from Kensington/Lyrical TOMORROW, December 15th! Check it out:

The throaty rasp in her voice tied his gut in a knot. “You’re lucky I came along to save you.”

Those lush lips curved, nudging her cheekbones and a breathtakingly appealing dimple appeared. “Am I?”

Greg fixed her with a stern glare. “He’s no gentleman.”

“And you are?”

Lowering his head, he answered with a, “Yes,” that sounded more like a resounding hell no.

Weekend Writing Warriors – 12/7/14

I have a new release this month! A few of you will remember it, because I shared bits as I was writing it. Well, Three Little Words will be available from Kensington/Lyrical on December 15th, and I can’t wait to share it with the world. It’s a little sweet, a little slapstick, and holy cannoli it gets hot! Check it out:

“Tequila, three shots.”

Once upon a time, three was her magic number. The key to managing everything life had thrown at her. Good and bad. The magic of three stopped being effective not long after she’d turned thirty–a bitter disappointment she’d never managed to reconcile with herself. Turns out, fate had her number in another way.

Well, screw fate. She’d played the good girl long enough.

Monday Mayhem – Diving Into December

If you need me, I’ll be over here having a nap…

Kidding. Actually, I had an awesome long weekend. Here’s my recap, complete with pictures!

Thanksgiving brunch was yummy.

My baybeh came over to play

I kept cranking away at the NaNoWriMo word count

Until I got this:

Then I spent some time doing this:

and this

oneclick

But there were still things to do. I had to finish a read through on Spring Chickens and do first-round edits on Going Deep

Then we made our annual contribution to the electric company

house

December will be the month of revision for me. I have 2 mostly complete manuscripts that are pretty darn messy. I have 2 websites I want to overhaul. I also have 2 releases to promote, 2 holiday parties on the same day…Oy. Maybe we can skip right to January?

How about you? Is your December shaping up to be crazy as well, or are you going low-key this holiday season?
