Fangirl Friday!

So, as I said, I’m going to be a little (or a lot) more chatty here on the blog and Fridays will be no exception. Inspired by some of my pals on Facebook, I thought it would be nice if we could take a little time out of our busy day on Friday to squee a bit over our latest loves.

That means we will be celebrating:

fangirl-fridays-finalFirst of all, special thanks to Jeff at Sawhorse.Marketing for the FABULOUS banner! I squealed when I saw it!

Okay, here’s how it goes:

Got a crush? It’s okay to spill it here. Fictional boyfriends duking it out for your affections in your dreams? Talk movies, TV shows, books, or even video games. Do tell! Best part? You don’t even have to be a girl to fangirl! Anything goes on Fangirl Fridays!

I’ll even start. You ready?

I’m still mad about James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser and April cannot get here fast enough.

I have SUCH a girl crush on Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope in Scandal.

But not as big of a girl crush as the thing I had for retired assassin Beth Farraday in Edie Harris’ first Blood Money book, Blamed. And her spy-guy, Vick. And her stick-up-his-tuchas brother, Tobias. In other words, this series has me hooked.

Downton Abbey is back!

Mad Men will be soon!

I’m still mourning the loss of Edward Herrmann

Okay – your turn! Go!

  1. I love a wide variety – Sam Elliot, Van Diesel, Antonio Banderas, George Clooney and of course Nikki Sixx. They all have something special – their eyes or the way they talk. I have no idea how they’d be to live with – but that is not my concern! Ha! They are just wonderful eye candy!

  2. I’m currently obsessed with Colin O’Donoghue as Captain Hook on Once Upon a Time. Like, OBSESSED. Like a lot. Really a lot. Have I mentioned obsessed?

  3. I have a girl crush on Olivia Pope too. When I was drinking red wine Tuesday night and sitting across from a super-cute guy, I was totes thinking about her too. 😀

I’ve had a massive crush on Eddie Redmayne since his performance in Les Mis, and now that he’s getting all kinds of attention for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, I’m worried that other single females will discover the awesomeness of him before I sink in my claws and have musical babies with him.

    I miss Edward Herrmann too.

    I LOVE Fangirl Fridays!!! 😀

  4. Oh, I loved Eddie in Les Miserables! I’d like to see The Theory of Everything, but will probably wait for it to come on Dish or Netflix.

  5. My current crush is Jonathan Banks. I could listen to him all day and night. My husband is so tired of watching Beverly Hills Cop, but I have to watch him in it, best death scene EVER! I also love Scott Patterson, Alan Tudyk and Chip Esten. My interests are very varied! The only one of those I’m shipping are Deacon (Chip) and Rayna. And I don’t thinks that’s happening for a very long time.

  6. The banner truly is lovely! Jeff did a great job – congrats!

I saw Eddie last week on Graham Norton. He told some funny stuff:

Yes! Downton is back! Lady Edith once again can’t catch a break! And just out of curiosity, does anyone like the schoolteacher they keep throwing at Branson?

They keep mentioning Sherlock, so I’m hopeful that sometime yet this decade it’ll be back on our screens.

I had to quit Scandal – I couldn’t take them beating up on poor Huck anymore. I really love How to Get Away With Murder, though! Those law students really have a thing about sex on the front porch. And Liza Weil’s on it!

I’m addicted to Nashville, mostly because it cracks me up about every other ridiculous scene. (Well…and there’s Deacon.) I started watching The Librarians just for Christian Kane and have been pleasantly surprised that the show (so far) does not suck. Galavant was fun – I hope that continues to be the case! I started watching West Wing from the beginning this week and I’m loving it. It makes me feel smart.

I’m a TV addict and I love too many shows, but there’s still only one that has a true place in my heart…I miss Richard, too.
