Monday Mayhem – A nibblet

Posted on Oct 28, 2013 by Margaret Ethridge   4 Comments | Posted in Blog

I’m traveling this week, so I thought I’d leave a little bit of my work in progress behind. Here are five lines from Going Deep:

“This is way too fast, Brian.”

He gave her hand a gentle squeeze. “Not saying today or tomorrow. Just…it’s possible one day.”

“When you talk next moves, you go all in.”

“I see no point in wading when I know I’m going under.”

What are you up to this week?

Oooh. Lovin’ the dialogue like a toonie floozie! My week is gonna start off with an exciting trip to the bank (I know; I’m wild and crazy), followed by some Halloween festivities, and perhaps topped off with a road trip with a relative stranger. In the writing world, I will delve further into my peanutty story. The government’s beginning to sniff around. Things are about to get messy. 😀

I will miss you. Safe trip.
Love the dialogue. Love the nibblet. I’m full of love.
Pretty sure my week will be the same. Work, home, bike, nap, grandkid, tv, computer, and bed (I’ll probably eat in there somewhere too) Lather, rinse, and repeat.

Nibblets: not just for corn anymore! Brian sounds like my kind of guy. (And I’m proud of myself that for once I didn’t type ‘brain’ instead.) My week consists of the usual: work, avoiding housework, and tying up bundles of Pixy Stix for treat-or-treaters. Travel safe!
