  1. I’m commenting just because I want to, but there’s no need to enter me in the contest. Frank sleeps right next to me every night. 😉 Something spooky happened to me just the other day. Every morning at the high school I’m teaching at, we play a special ‘wake-up’ song as students are walking to first period. All morning I had Uptown Funk in my head, and I decided I’d request that in the near future so they’d play it. Guess what song they played that morning? Uptown Funk! That’s another spooky-cool moment, brought to you by the letter E. 😀

  2. I’m a decidedly un-spooky person. Aside from the occasional freaky sense of deja vu and an intense desire to believe in the paranormal, I don’t think the paranormal believes in me. However, I thought of a couple of kinda spooky occurrences.

Back in 2011, I flat-out said “The only way I’ll make it to RWA Nationals is if I final in the Golden Heart.” I requested that week of vacation at work, and I think I might have said “when I final” … Anyway, I did. And I went. And it was marvelous.

Last fall, I got laid off from my job of more than 14 years. A month later, I was still carrying the boxes from my desk in my car. (Still am, for that matter.) One night, the Boyfriend said “Why do you have so much crap in your car?” I said, “I’m waiting for them to call and say they need me back.” Later that week, my old boss called and asked me to come back on a temporary, part-time basis (I was re-hired in late November and worked there until the first week of January, when I started a new job in Prescott.)

  3. Noises spook me. So I’m in a new house and hear noises from my backyard while I’m trying to sleep. I get up…go turn on the backyard light. Nothing. Drives me crazy.

    1. Oh, yes. I’m particularly jumpy when I am home alone. I’ve been known to leave a light on. Thanks for stopping by!
